Girls Who Code

Hello 3rd - 5th Grade Girls (and their families),

This year, we will have a FREE after-school club just for young ladies who want to learn about coding, Girls Who Code. We will use curriculum provided from the organization but we have freedom to work on what the group of girls decide is important and interesting. The club dates and times are listed below. Please fill out the form to register your child no later than October 31st.

I am excited to bring more Computer Science into our school using the Girls Who Code program. The number of women in STEM and Computer Science fields are low.  My hope is that with your child’s generation that will change through these kinds of opportunities.

Please fill out this Google Form to enroll your child, and so I may have critical safety information about your daughter.

I will allow up to 20 students in the club, so please fill out your form quickly so I may get your child registered in the club. If you need a paper permission slip, email me or have your child stop in the office to pick one up. Sometime after the first meeting, I will send you another paper with directions on how to access the HQ (Headquarters) on line.

I look forward to working with your child!
