Food Drive Final Totals Update
SASM Food Drive was an incredible success, thanks to the generosity, compassion, and teamwork shown by our entire school community. Together, we collected an amazing 6,911 food items to support the East Mountain Food Pantry — a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when we unite for a common cause.
Your donations will directly support families right here in our East Mountain community, and the impact of your kindness will be felt far. THANK YOU for modeling generosity for our students and for showing what it means to care for our neighbors.
Week 1 Oct. 27-31 Winning Class: Mrs. Hollins' class with 792 items collected!
Week 2 Nov.3-7 Winning Class: Mrs. Scott’s class — 422 items collected
Mrs. Melita’s class — 397 items collected
Week 3 Nov.10-14 Winning Class: Mrs. Cuba – 798 items!
We also want to acknowledge and celebrate every classroom that took part. While the pizza party is a fun incentive, the true success of this drive comes from the meaningful contributions made by all. Every student played an essential role in helping us reach this milestone.
SASM is more than a school — we are a community that shows up for one another. Your support continues to inspire our students and staff, and we are so grateful for each of you.
