- Teachers will supervise students during A.M. and Lunch and P.M. recesses.
Tardy Students
Students enter the school campus through the Main Office Doors, stop at the Receptionist Desk before proceeding to their classroom.
Change of Normal Pick-up Routine
- All students must have a current note from home if they are changing their normal afternoon routine. If the teacher does not have a note, your student will be sent home in the usual manner.
- In the case of an emergency change, call the office with the information before 3:15. After 3:15, we can’t guarantee delivery of the information before dismissal.
The telephone numbers on the student’s enrollment card MUST be correct and current. Anytime a change has occurred, updates MUST be provided to the office. Every effort will be made to contact families if the need arises. In case no one can be contacted, APS police will be contacted.
Dismissal Procedures
Children cannot be dismissed from school during school hours unless a parent or authorized adult picks the child up at school. They must be picked up by an adult and be signed out in the office. If a child is checked out, a picture ID needs to be shown for identification. The person checking the student out needs to have permission as disclosed on the registration card in order to remove the student from school. Parents can update the registration cards to add adults who are allowed to remove their child from San Antonito. We take the safety of our students very seriously and will not allow students to leave with adults who do not have advance permission to take the student.
